Contributing Writer

From a Small Town in the Middle of No-where, England, I'm interested in pretty much everything except cars, shopping and 'celebrity culture'. This unfortunate affliction means that I have a lot of random information rattling around in my head, useful in a pub quiz but not appreciated in my place of work. My solution? Get another job where being able to provide answers to the random questions people ask is actually considered a positive ability. And thats why I'm here. Also, I quite like writing,

I have worked in a variety of jobs and studied a fair few subjects in different fields (Horticulture, Literature, History, Mythology, Chemistry, Geology, Biology, Complementary Therapies etc), as well as having a wide ranging collection of hobbies, and more books than the local library (almost, its a very small library).

Some of my articles are based on the notes I am making for a book about Anglo-Saxon women who, while important to history have often been ignored in favour of their male contemporaries , working title 'Loaf Givers: the Lives of (number unconfirmed) Anglo - Saxon ladies'.
